BEYOND YOU

Terror galvanizing every ward
Sobs graduating into shrieks
Soberly trekking into darkness
This is no movie, this is no Star Trek into darkness
This is reality, maybe not in 3D because its not at the cinema
It's a hospital, Kamuzu Central Hospital

He is hugging a cold floor
A thin sheet seperating him from the concrete reality
The reality that he is alone
Abandoned,
Abandoned to fate
Abandoned to pain
Pain, Pain, Pain that even Asprin, Panado or Parapain cannot take away

She needs a hand
Yeah both literary and metapholically
Actually she needs more than a hand
She needs a heart
A heart that beats outside the chest
A heart that has eyes to see beyond
A heart that would see more and more
when the eyes are seeing less and less

unless

Maybe they need a saviour, Maybe they need Jesus
But last I checked we are the custodian of the gospel
You and I are the Jesus they will ever see
If the anointing in the helm of His garment would stop 38 years of bleeding
His body, the church, should be able to do even more

You are blessed with the sense of sight to see
And on the inside an insight to see beyond you
look, If "you" is all you see when you look
I dare say that you are blind
You don't need 3D glasses to see beyond you
Reality doesn't have to be in HD for me to see beyond me
All we need is a heart full of love.

THE TICKS OF TIME

Timeless ticks. Clicks the clock
Tick-tack-tick the clock ticks from
Tick to tick from time to time,
Timing time on time, in
Time, out of time,
Time still ticks:
Timing time, our
Time,
Tick-
Tack-
Tick...

TIME

If I could tell time
If I could tame time
If I could trick time
If I could trust time
If I could team-up with time
Take time to tick with time and travel in time

If I could

Maybe I can

MIND YOUR LANGUAGE

As a Christian you are like God, you were made in His image and likeness (Gen 1:27); what God said came into being, same thing with you, your words have creative ability, so it is important to mind your language. Like Bill Johnson said, “Only say those things to which the Holy Spirit can say Amen”, that is to say your confessions should align with your nature (God’s nature).

As a Christian you have the authority to permit or prohibit things in your life and your world. In Matthew 16:19 (Good News Bible) Jesus told his disciple: “I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of heaven; what you prohibit on earth will be prohibited in heaven, and what you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven." This authority is our present day possession. But how do we exercise this authority? It is with our mouth.

What you say determines what happens in your life. If you confess sickness, you have used your authority to permit sickness into your life. In the same way, if you confess divine health, you have permitted divine health to operate in your body. God permits in your life what you have permitted with your tongue, so don’t expect to walk in divine health if sickness is all you have been confessing.

Make it your habit to confess the Word. Declare victory, success, divine health, peace and joy to your life all the time. Don’t wait for things to happen to you, make things happen by declaring what you want to see. Kenneth E. Hagin once said, “If you don’t like what you see, change what you say”. When God saw the world formless and empty in the beginning, He didn’t sit down and throw a pity party, he spoke life to it. Genesis chapter 1 records the phrase “God said” 10 times, which means God wasn’t looking at the emptiness and formlessness of the world in despair. Looking at it purposefully, He pictured what he wanted to see and spoke.

What do you want to see in your life, in your family, in your relationship or in your country? Say it and you will have it. And whatever you want, until you have confirmed that you have gotten what you wanted and it is good, keep saying it. Don’t settle for a molehill when you can get a mountain.

Burnt My Bridge

I am not returning to yesterday
to re-open the sepulchre of misery,
I won't go back to pay a tribute
to the remains of mediocrity
I won't jump for a rebound
to frozen dreams and vaporised wishes
I won't curl into a cochlea of regret
over the milk messing the floor of history
I have the fire within me, I don't need the ashes
The past is past, I have passed and am past it

I am a new specie birthed of divinity
Recreated with no past: my yesterday is cremated
I am open to endless possibilities from eternity to infinity
No flaw, no mistake only susceptible to success
I have access to deity, I have keys to the kingdom
I pop into the throne without a passport
And I don't need a rocket to get there: I teleport
